"If you love Loire Valley cabernet franc-based wines, reds like Chinon and Bourgueil, which offer minerals, violets, lavender and the most pristine raspberry and bitter cherry fruit imaginable, plus a very food-friendly, mouth-cleansing amount of tannin and acidity, this one's for you. Not at all in the style of oaky super ripe California cab franc (not that there's anything wrong with this sort of wine...it's just not for everyone, right?). Enjoy this 2003 Cabernet Franc with fish, meat or poultry, or try a little experiment with a Moroccan tagine!"

"Full of red fruits and the palate was soft and juicy. This wine should go very well with a grilled wild salmon and mushroom."
