"Vivid red. Deeper and darker in character than the En Haut, displaying scents of black raspberry, boysenberry and cola, with a suave undercurrent of minerals adding vivacity. Deeply concentrated dark berry flavors stain the palate and pick up a sexy cola element on the back end. Finishes with very good focus and a lingering note of cherry-cola. I marginally prefer the energy of the En Haut today."

"This is our best Kiser En Bas to date showing pure, crystalline dried dark red fruit aromas and flavors with subtle mineral and black tea notes. The vibrant acidity keeps the wine lively and fresh and balances the great core of fruit and tannin. We would suggest waiting a least six months to try one of these and will certainly benefit from a year or more. In the end this should age nicely for the next 10-15 years."
