"A new wine for us, and if you love red Burgundy, you are going to go ape for this Anderson Valley gem. This 2002 is a blend of Dijon and Jackson clones grown near the town of Philo on gravely soils with a southwestern exposure. 18 months in French oak rounds the wine out, and a meaty, earthy note makes this a dead ringer for a Gevrey-Chambertin!"
