"The stunning 2007 Beautiful Earth (a proprietary blend of 70% Syrah, 24% Grenache, and 6% Mourvedre) displays an inky/purple color as well as a big, sweet perfume of blackberries, black currants, licorice, pepper, smoke, and white chocolate. Dense and full-bodied with substantial, but ripe tannin, and a long finish, it should evolve for 7-8 years or longer."

"A smooth, graceful, supple style, with crushed berry, spice, pepper and hints of anise, earth and tar. Deliciously elegant and easy-drinking now. Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. "

"This is a new wine for us and we are very happy with the way it turned out. It comes from Terra Bella Vineyard, which is located in the hills of Westside Paso Robles. (Terra Bella in English is Beautiful Earth). The Syrah comes from a south- facing hillside which is planted in limestone soil. The nose has very strong scents of dark fruit, stone, spice, and wildflowers. It has great intensity on the palate, with flavors of blackberry, graphite, and incense and a long, full finish. Only 168 cases produced."
