5 stars
"A lovely Cheval-Blanc, with ultra-elegant red fruits andviolet aromas, silky texture, refined tannins. Will probably equal and even surpass the 1998, with the same cabernet Franc freshness and nobility. Compared to Ausone there is a small lack of vinosity. Drink from 2017. (19 points)"

"Dark and intense, with blackberry, plum and light vanilla aromas. Subtle and complex. Full-bodied, with plenty of berry and vanilla character and a long, silky finish. Very racy. Very refined and long. Love the caressing texture. Close to the 2000 in quality. Best after 2008."

"Subtle, complex and refined, with aromas of cherry, licorice, mineral, berry and other sweet, ripe fruit. Full-bodied and compacted, with masses of fine, silky tannins. Long, long finish. Best after 2010. 8,330 cases made. –JS
