90 points "The color is deep, dense ruby/purple. The nose begins with a classic display of forest floor, spice and flowery ripe black raspberries and blue fruits. This wine has a vague resemblance to a Richebourg from Burgundy. Full-bodied, with perfect harmony among all its components - tannin, acidity, alcohol, wood and extract. This compelling wine will age for 15+ years " Best 2016-2027

94 points "International Wine Cellar Author: Josh Raynolds Issue: Issue 163 Bright violet color. Explosively perfumed aromas of red and dark berry preserves, Asian spices and potpourri, with cola and vanilla accents building in the glass. Sappy, broad and appealingly sweet, offering lively, spicy dark berry flavors with nuances of soy and candied flowers. Shows plenty of upfront appeal and intense fruit, finishing smooth, spicy and very long." Best 2015-2017

94 points "Light and spicy, with pretty red berry and cinnamon flavors that linger against refined tannins. The flavors expand with each sip, picking up extra mineral and earth nuances, as the finish sails on unabated. It's the length that makes this special. Drink now through 2019. 2,300 cases made. –HS" Best 2012-2019
