" Hmm. Rosé in the dead of winter? Not exactly what first comes to mind as a partner to wintertime's hearty, stick to your ribs kind of foods, but this is not exactly light and quaffable summertime rosé. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the famous Frediani Vineyard in Calistoga, this is fashioned in an unmistakable American style, meaning it does not mince words, stand on ceremony or partner well with quiche. Ruby pink in color, with aromas of tea leaf, jasmine, and lemon zest and overtones of strawberries and wild roses. On the palate there are layers of ripe strawberry and wild raspberry notes with jammy richness and even a touch of caramel apple. Just 435 cases produced."
