97 points "The 'Carobric' vineyard might be a mystery to you, it is actually a blend of 'Cannubi', 'Rocche' and 'Bric del Fiasc' and is a subtle play on words meaning 'expensive ridge' in Italian. Generally I would say that when your are blending vineyards that have distinct character and are from different communes you get a lesser product, but this wine is amazing. Exceptional fruit, depth and finish, drinkable and ageable, just about anything you could ask for. The richness of the 1997 vintage really shines through. " Best 2009-2017

96 points "Dark ruby red color. Complex aromas of crushed berry, rose bush and Indian spices. Full-bodied, with ultrafine tannins and powerful, rich fruit, with a fresh herb and mushroom undertone. Very stylish and soulful. Just starting to come around. Give it a little more time.--1997 Italian blind retrospective. Best after 2009" Best 2010-
