"Marsannay is the original home of Rosé in Burgundy. Grapes here are grown specifically to make the rosé, rather than a rosé produced as an afterthought to beef up a red wine. Instead of the simple, forward wines often associated with rosé, this has true Pinot Noir character, and surprising complexity. It is one of my favorite summer-time wines, and pairs brilliantly with grilled salmon or a roast chicken. Try and it and you will find yet another reason to "Think Pink".
