4 stars "Color: dark; Nose: intense; Aromas: woody; Acidity: crisp; Sweetness: dry; Body: tannic; Finish: persistent; Overall: bold; This wine was unbelieveable I have come to a place where I think that most Petite Sirah's taste alike in a xerox sort of way. This is a grand exception. I am quite disappointed that this bottle was the only one that I had because it was stunning and terribly young just yet. The tannins did not loosen up much after over 45 minutes in the decanter. The fruit was present but certainly partially obscured by the gripping tannins. An awesome effort, none the less. Apparently only four barrels of this wine were made. " Best 2008-2012
