"While so many Napa wines soar past the $100 mark, John Buehler consistently delivers high quality Cabernets for a fraction of that price. The winery's estate vineyards at the base of Howell Mountain supplied 35 percent of this 2005, with the rest coming from non-estate vineyards on the valley floor. The estate fruit lends intensity to the wine, but winemaker David Cronin pursues a well-proportioned style, emphasizing balance and classic Napa aromas such as blackberry, cedar and mineral." "
