"The color of this wine is dark, ruby-red, almost impenetrable. Refinement in wood intensifies the bouquet with red berry fruit, plum, vanilla and licorice scents. The taste is properly tannic, meaning just enough to pair with robust Northern Italian fare, especially red meat. The acidity merges with the fullness, leaving a persistent and pleasant aftertaste. Favà ages for 12-14 months in small and almost new French "carati." 2 Red glasses in Gambero Rosso."
