"This wine had good clarity with little signs of aging. Deep Ruby in appearance with just a great depth of colour. It had a ripe nose that was pretty pungent. Traces of blackcurrant, cherry, plum, sweet stewed plum fruits, cumin, lemon and some floral and smokiness. The palate was dominated by blackcurrant and cherry with some sourness/unripe touches. Also, red wine vinegar and gravel notes. Overall the wine seemed a bit closed although with good lengthy breathing (3 hours) the wine opened up and the fruit, tannin and acidity showed themselves. Not as complex as I was hoping for and clear that this wine needs some time to develop its character further. "

" Fine deep colour, good concentration of ripe black fruits plus a little florality, good balance and length, nice dry finish, an attractive, polished wine. Drink 2008-15. (16 points)"

"Tart acids are accompanied by hints of cranberries, sweet and sour cherries, flowers, and wet rocks. Medium-bodied, vibrant, zesty, and light, this finesse-styled wine can be consumed over the next 7-10 years."
