"Ramos Pintos non-vintage ruby is a blend of vintages aged in wood for six years or so, where it develops into a fruity, but rounded effort that offers unbelievable pleasure for the buck. Aromas include fig jam and black pepper. On the palate it is soft and juicy with layers of fruit and structure. Holds up very well once opened, too. But we can't say it will last long in your cupboard."
