"Ahh, one of our favorite wines to blend, year after year, the 2009 Archimage is a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Franc. At once spicy, smokey, and brimming with red fruits, this wine is as multi-dimensional as any wine we have made to date. Comprised of Merlot from Seven Hills Vineyard, and Cabernet Franc from Red Mtn., Blue Mtn., and Chelle den Millie Vineyards, it was aged in 50% new French oak for 23 months. The bright red Bing cherry profile from Seven Hills is evident, while the dusty tobacco and cinnamon spice from the Cab Franc add to the complexity. Dense, sweet tannins prove that this wine will age with the best of them. "
