"The 2001 Lancaster brims with aromas of wild berries, cassis, and violets. Ripe, black cherry and chocolate flavors, toasted oak nuances, and supple tannins combine to deliver a most balanced, and full bodied wine. Bottled unfiltered and unfined. 88% cabernet sauvignon, 8% merlot, 2% malbec, 1% cabernet franc and 1% petit verdot. Aged 22 months in French oak barrels (60% new). "
