"Rating: TWO AND A HALF STARS 2005 Green & Red Vineyard Chiles Mill Vineyard Napa Valley Zinfandel ($25) The winery is named for its red iron soils veined with green serpentine; its 1890s-era vineyards were replanted in 1972. The Chiles Mill Vineyard - named for the remnants of pioneer J.B. Chiles' grist mill - overlooks Chiles Canyon at 1,200-foot elevation. Plenty of lifted red berry and plum combine with menthol and smoke in the nose, while the palate also finds a bit of leather and tart raspberry.
