"Color: deep; Nose: fragrant; Aromas: black berry; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: dry; Body: medium-bodied; Finish: persistent; Overall: well balanced; Very encouraging. Lovely black fruit nose, with a touch of smokiness. Needed an hour or so to open up, but flavour most attractive - plums and blackcurrants. Softening up, though there is still some firm backbone. Lingers long on the palate. Clearly a very good vineyard, and a "monopole" of Tollot's."
