"I never thought I'd be tasting this type of wine again. Without breathing, only a little wirl in the glass, it was like a fine aged merlot-based blend that retails for $50-100 per bottle. The cork bottom was crystallized red. Perhaps this bottle was a fluke, stored perfectly at Costco. (I found more a few days later at Costco--1st one needed aeration. never great, much better 2nd day. 2nd one 7/12 better but not equal to original bottle. 3rd one 10/12 OK after 2 hours breathing then decanting, but was flat tasting by end of bottle.) (New bargain case 12/12--1st one excellent, no aeration needed.)"
