"(91-93pts) The 2010 Pinot Noir Le Moulin Rouge Pisoni Vineyard is gorgeous. Like all of the Peter Michael 2010 Pinots, there is plenty of richness here, but these vines planted in 1990 seem to have been more resistant than the estate's own younger vines in this challenging year. Black cherries, violets, licorice and minerals are some of the many notes that flow from this plush, dense Pinot. I can't wait to taste this once it is in bottle. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2018.
