"With “The Tillerman” we imagined a boldly flavored, balanced and well-structured red wine. To achieve this we evaluated various lots and varietals produced from the Los Amigos Ranch. The 2003 vintage yielded ripe, richly flavored Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. We decided to blend these grapes with a dollop of Sangiovese for its aromas and structure. The varietals were fermented and aged separately in French and American oak for one year before blending and bottling. 14.5% 7,000 CASES
