"Color: dark; Nose: intense; Aromas: mineral, spicy, woody; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: medium dry; Body: firm; Finish: persistent; Overall: pleasant; Hints of new saddle leather, chocolate and berry fruit. Flavor is medium bodied with sweet fruit, some tannin, and a distinctive earthiness. This wine aged 10 months in the barrel giving it more sophistication than expected.
