"Color: deep; Nose: fragrant; Body: full-bodied; Finish: persistent; Overall: rich; Great fruit as well as depth, coupled with spice and concentration, and a nice long finish. A much more intense Sangiovese than I am used to from Italy, but very successful. Skilled modern winemaking, bringing out the best of the vine without destroying its personality. Unexpected refinement at this price."
