" Bright straw color and a fresh nose of lemon and grapefruit. On the palate, mineral with a snappy acidity balanced by mild nutty flavors. The finish is crisp and citrussy."

"An essay in esoterica- Cour Cheverny is a tiny appellation in the Touraine has fewer than 50 ha in production. Cour Cheverny must be 100% Romorantin a vine thought to have been brought here by Francis 1st in the 16th century. Philippe Tessier one of the two stars of the region crafts this wine from 60-85 year old vines and matures it in 3-5 year old burgundy barrels. It is rich and textured, almost powerful, with hints of orange peel, grapefruit and sandy soil with a finish that is long and spicy. Dig on this!!! "
