"This Alsatian-styled white blend is 80% pinot gris and 20% gewurztraminer with minute quantities of the two German varities, Rieslaner and Kerner. 2009 yielded very good richness with slightly softer acids than in 2008. Flavors fall more into the riper spectrum in this vintage, with ripe pear and pineapple prominent. At the same time it appears to show great earthiness and minerals. 445 cases were bottled in early April 2009."
