6% Merlot; 5% Petit Verdot. We have been impressed by the value afforded by a number of recent Hahn bottlings, and this rich, oak-sweetened wine joins our list of better buys. It sports a good complement of well-ripened cherryish fruit and its accents of vanilla and cream are hard not to like. Its unobtrusive tannins lend it a bit of potential, but they melt away nicely even now if the wine is paired up with juicy cuts of beef or lamb. GOOD VALUE"
