"This is truly one of the benchmark producers in the Maconnais. Domaine Louis Jadot acquired this property in early 2008 after the passing of Colette Ferret and it couldn't have fallen into better hands. Jadot will continue to shepherd the wines to market in the same style and at the same quality level as evidenced by this 2008. Succulent wet stone and minerality exude from this wine. It has intense pear aromas and limestone notes with an increasingly long finish that continues to drive forward as the wine opens. This is Pouilly that is meant for the cellar but how can you not want to try some now!"
