"Color: dark; Nose: intense; Aromas: black berry; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: dry; Body: full-bodied; Finish: persistent; Overall: well balanced; Quite a blockbuster, and normally I'd shun this level of alcohol, but in a limited quantity this was very good. Deeply coloured with a redness on the rim; big nose full of ripe dark fruits; damsons, licorice, slight tar in the flavour, but beautifully smooth."
