"This vineyard dates back to the 11th Century, but the vines here are only 25 years old. This is a fabulous bottle of Chinon, though, about as good as it gets. It is big everywhere--in depth, power, finish, structure. The fruit is denser and more concentrated than most Chinon producers can ever imagine. The texture of the wine makes it a pleasure to roll around your mouth, and it coats it completely. I personally think this is a Chinon legend in the making. About $32, which makes it a great wine deal. 94-96 points"
