"Color: deep; Nose: complex; Acidity: crisp; Body: full-bodied; Overall: elegant; A great wine.....nose of red and dark fruit..lots of spice...allspice...nutmeg....on the palate as well...somewhat like a zin...but more complex and subtle"

"The 2009 Oublie is an unusual blend of equal parts Counoise, Grenache and Mourvedre. It is a gorgeous, sensual wine laced with ripe red fruit, dried herbs, flowers and spices. The layered, refined finish is especially beautiful. "

"93 points | $60 | 322 cases made | Red
Very rich yet elegant and stylish, with supple, detailed mineral, fresh earth, black berry, black and red licorice, with touches of nutmeg and spice, full bodied yet ending with a measure of delicacy and restraint. Grenache, Counoise and Mourvèdre. Drink now through 2022.—J.L."

"(one-third each grenache, counoise and mourvedre): Vivid ruby. Red and dark berry aromas show impressive clarity, with notes of licorice, lavender and rose contributing complexity. Big and densely packed but light on its feet, offering intense raspberry, boysenberry and spice flavors. Juicy and precise on the finish, which clings with excellent tenacity. This wine's marriage of power and vivacity is impressive."
