"An excellent value in full-flavored, robust, South Australian red, this dense ruby/purple-colored 2004 Shotfire Ridge Barossa Cuvee exhibits loads of concentrated blackberry fruit, medium to full body, sweet tannin, and a long, heady finish. While not complex, it is a savory, mouth-filling, substantial effort to enjoy over the next two years." (10/05) According to the Wine Spectator: "Soft, ripe and generous with its black cherry, black olive and rosemary flavors, lingering on the polished, toasty finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2011." (02/06)
