"Massolino decided against bottling their single-vineyard Barolos in 2003, opting instead for a blend, which consumers will be able to enjoy at a very reasonable price considering today's market environment. The estate's 2003 Barolo is made in a soft approachable style. It reveals notable depth in its core of vibrant black cherries with lovely purity and well-integrated tannins. This is a terrific effort from Massolino. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2018."
