"Medium brick-red color and a nose of fresh sweet cherries. On the palate, earthy character with some good acidity and a smoky finish. "

"This meticulously planted, steep hillside vineyard is situated on a southern face with an average of 20% grade, but climbs up to a 40% grade. The vine rows are planted with high density in a special orientation running southwest to northeast, resulting in a constant gentile sun exposure which evenly and thoroughly ripens grape clusters. Fiona Hill is located along Westside Road just at the entrance to Porter Creek. Franciscan, metamorphic, hard clay with a fractured stone bedrock places continual stress on this pinot vines, resulting in a very expressive, unique wine. "
