"Once again, tropical fruit, tangerine oil, and pineapple notes as well as a full-bodied force and opulence characterize the 2004 Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard, a cool climate site that has a long hang time and produces wines with honeyed, exotic components. It’s Chardonnay pushed to the limit, but Mark Aubert is smart enough to rein it in before going over the top. There is crisp underlying acidity as well as a blockbuster finish."
