89 points "One of this estate’s iconic offerings is their Petite Sirah Lytton Estate. The 2011 (100% Petite Sirah aged 14 months in American oak) exhibits a dense ruby/purple color as well as a primary, grapy notes of blueberries and black raspberries, soft tannins and a surprisingly upfront, forward character. Still one-dimensional and undeveloped, this 2011 should evolve quickly given the vintage and Ridge’s style. It should last for a decade. " Best 2013-2023

93 points "93 points Antonio Galloni - The 2012 Petite Sirah Lytton Estate is absolutely delicious. The addition of 10% Zinfandel has softened the typically burly Petit tannins, resulting in a wine that delivers tons of pure pleasure. Menthol, cloves and lavender wrap around a core of blue/purplish fruit in a gorgeous Petite with soft contours (for Petite) and terrific overall balance. (7/ 2014)" Best 2015-2018
