" Andy MacGregor farms 62 acres of chardonnay vines in the Edna Valley appellation, outside of San Luis Obispo. Originally planted in 1976 and completed in 1980, his vineyard is one of the oldest in the entire Central Coast region of California. Edna Valley is very much a coastal vineyard area, with the Pacific Ocean influencing the climate daily. As a result of its cooling powers, this is a fruit-driven, balanced chardonnay with plenty of refreshing vigor and acidity."
