" This deliciously subtle Provencal-style rosé is a blend of 87% grenache and 13% mourvèdre from Unti's esteemed Dry Creek estate vineyards. This domestic pink is really a big step up in quality from other California's rosé, and great plant material is behind the difference. Unti's grenache clone is grenache noir purchased from Tablas Creek and Alban Vineyards. These clones, selected for Chateauneuf du Pape, give darker color and better structure than the majority of grenache planted in California."
