" This is the fourth vintage of Miss Harry, sourced from mostly 80+ year-old, dry-grown bush vines of grenache, shiraz and mourvèdre. These varieties were picked at optimum maturity, fermented separately on their skins before finishing fermentation and malo-lactic in old French barriques then matured in these same barrels for about 10 months. Smoky and pleasantly spicy, this is a beautifully structured, fruit-concentrated red that will please just about any wine lover. (Parker has been a fan since the first vintage; the 2003, however, has not yet been rated.)"

"The impressive 2003 Miss Harry GSM is a great value. Aged in old wood, it is a classic Rhone blend of 47% Grenache, 40% Shiraz, and 13% Mourvedre. Deep, full-bodied, and more powerful than previous vintages, with peppery kirsch and blackberry notes as well as hints of licorice and garrigue, tremendous density, supple tannin, and a mouthfilling, elegant style, it will provide immense pleasure over the next 2-5 years."
