92 points "As soon as this wine hits the glass you know that you are in for a treat. It is a heavy wine with a deep, dark purple, almost black, color. It is so rich and inky that the cluster of bubbles that form around the edge of the glass are actually purple. The aroma is a very distinct blackberry jam with just a slight brush of mint. As for flavor, this brute really delivers with a cornacopia of dark berries - blackberry, blueberry, and currant - complimented by undertones of dark chocolate and licorice. Its finish is long and delicious with silky tannins that don't get in the way but will allow you to cellar it easilly for the next 10 years." Best 2006-2016
