"This brand new 2005 Rosé of Syrah was inspired by the wines of southern France. We sought to give this wine just the right amount of color and structure without compromising the bright, fresh aromas and refreshing mouth feel. Because this rose is cold fermented, the aromatic profile is rich with bright, fruit flavors and a clean finish on the palate. From Sonoma Coast Syrah vineyards located north of the San Pablo Bay outside of Petaluma. All south facing, the vineyards are positively affected by the cooling from the nearby bay which converge with those influences from the Pacific Ocean creating a very cool and ideal microclimate."
