94 points "Color: deep; Nose: complex; Aromas: mineral, buttery, floral, tropical fruit; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: dry; Body: full-bodied; Finish: persistent; Overall: rich; This wine held up exceptionally. I thought that I was risking consuming the wine past its drinking window, but I was pleasantly surprised that the fruit has held up remarkably well even if the acidity has backed off from what you would expect from a sauvignon blanc. I had this bottle at a New Year's party where I served a wonderful seafood paella dish. This rich and creamy sauvignon blanc paired very nicely. The nose captured the essence of an island breeze carrying the smells of a fresh tropical fruit salad and coconut milk cocktails with it. As you sipped you can feel the wine coat your mouth with juicy mango and undertones of vanilla. The finish goes on for a good minute and has you anticipating the next sip. Wonderful experience!"

94 points "Peter Michael’s delicious 2008 L’Apres Midi, a blend of 86% Sauvignon Blanc and 14% Semillon. One of the finest examples of this cuvee they have made in many years, the 2008 has the texture of a top Chardonnay. One-hundred percent barrel fermented, it exhibits abundant amounts of honeyed lemon grass, fig, spice box, melon, and waxy fruit flavors. Zesty acidity provides vivaciousness to all of its component parts. It should drink well for 4-5 years." Best -2014
