"Substantial as well as full-bodied is the 2003 Palazzo della Torre IGT, a blend of 70% Corvina Veronese, 25% Rondinella, and 5% Sangiovese, all aged in oak ovals and smaller barrels for 15 months. It reveals intense herb-infused, black cherry fruit interwoven with notes of white chocolate, mocha, and almonds. Spicy, rich, medium to full-bodied, and dense with no hard edges, this finely tuned red should drink well for 3-4 years."

"Fresh, almost sweet blackberry and vanilla on the nose, following through to a medium-bodied palate, with fine tannins and a cut-wood character. Balanced finish. Corvina, Rondinella and Sangiovese. Best after 2006. Tasted twice, with consistent notes."
