"intense fruity nose with some peppery notes. Strong on the palate with herbal aromas. Slightly aggressive"

4.5 stars
"Color: deep; Aromas: black berry; Sweetness: dry; Finish: persistent; Rating: four and half stars. Notes: We have been cellaring this magnum of 1997 Reserve for several years and decided last night was the proper time to enjoy it. After an hour of decanting, the wine tasted in my opinion like it is peaking...we nailed it! If you own one I'd suggest drinking it now although there were enough tannins left that you may be able to wait another 6 months on the magnums, 750's may be at their peak or just past. Lucious dark red fruit and silky finnish....yum! Perfect with the medium rare filet mignon I paired it with."
