Tasting Notes:
rated: January 5, 2008 , Blake Rawson
88 points "The wine has a deep color, with elegant and expressive aromas of red fruits and spices. On the palate, the wine has a solid structure, ripe tannins and a spicy character. The Wine Spectator Very pure and fresh, with purple and blue fruits leading the way, followed by notes of tar, violet and mineral. Open-knit, but has some grip. Delicious. Drink now. 108,300 cases made. Score: 88. —James Molesworth, October 15, 2006. The Wine Enthusiast Young, fresh and grapy, this is a bouncy, easy-to-drink wine with plenty of fruit. Black cherry, berry and plum flavors finish crisp and not too tannic. You could even serve this with a slight chill on it. Score: 86. —Joe Czerwinski, November 15, 2006."
