" Aromatic nose, with black fruit notes. More supple on the palate than the 2001, with lovely Volnay-like aromatics. Bright and rich, with ripe fruit and very fine tannins. Nice wine for the price. (Keith Wollenberg, K&L Burgundy Buyer, 03/04) Allen Meadows says: "This too is almost quite ripe but here the aromas are darker and blacker in character and the flavors possess better definition plus more obvious structure on the medium length finish.
