" Again, the Domaine grown wine shines. Spicy fruit character, very good length on the palate, and a very nice character. The focus and lenght, combined with the ripe tannin structure and good fruit make this an absolute steal at this price. Of course, it show more reserve and is less forward than the village wine, but what potential! (Keith Wollenberg, K&L Burgundy Buyer, 03/04) Allen Meadows says: "Tighter and more aromatically reserved with a pretty mix of fresh red and black fruit aromas leading to concentrated, beautifully balanced flavors that display a hint of finishing rusticity. This will benefit from another 3 to 5 years of bottle age." (Burghound, 04/04)"
