"Tasted by tcfishler on 1/23/2007 & rated 91 points: Medium ruby-red, rims a bit garnet. Terrifically stinky, full-blown, heady nose of earth and herbs, with tar and smoke playing a secondary role. Fairly juicy, with building sweetness and a full body. Finish is moderate in length and features smooth tannins. Any trace of oak has long disappeared from this wine. On subsequent days notes of tobacco started to appear, but the thinning of the fruit indicates to me that this should be drunk up over the next few years. "
