"This was actually very nice with the Pizza. Blackberry fruit is how it seems to be often described. Quite fruity and with very good acidity, it also had a nice smokiness that reminded me a bit of the La Luna Lambrusco. Soft and easy drinking, but different enough from your average grocery store wine to be a little interesting. Nice pepperyness/spiciness. Great simple wine for pizza, tomato-based pasta.
