" '(from 60 year old vines). The first wine that showed any hint of oak, which is a welcome change from past vintages, which have always struck me as a bit too oaky. In this case, the oak is subtle and the wine displays plenty of exotic oriental spice, tea and earth with old vine sappiness. The tannins are quite fine for Nuits, ripe and supple.
