"The portfolio begins with the 2005 Firehouse Red, a blend of 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah, 24% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, with the balance Sangiovese, Carmenere, and Malbec. Dark ruby-colored with a nose bordering on exotic, the wine offers ripe, sweet fruit, complex flavors, and a stylish elegance, all at a very nice price. Drink this tasty wine over the next 8-10 years. Kudos to Tamarack Cellars for an outstanding, individualistic lineup of well-priced wines."
